How much magnesium does my child get per scoop of the cream?

Hi.
The label on the jar can be a bit confusing. It states that the cream contains 100mg of Epsom Salts per scoopful. The label does not, however, mention the amount of Magnesium per scoopful.
Each scoopful contains 10mg of elemental magnesium, and 90mg of sulfate.
Thanks,
Adam
How much cream should you use after swimming in a chlorinated pool for a 45 lb child? Do you apply the cream to the entire body?
Hi Michele,
I am researching your question about swimming in chlorinated water and using Magensium Sulfate Cream. I will report back soon.
Hi Michele,
I consulted with Dr. Phillip DeMio, one of the very best DAN! Doctors. He instructs his patients to apply 3 – 5 scoops of Magnesium Sulfate Cream, 15 minutes before swimming. It is recommended to apply the cream to the entire back because this provides a large area for the cream to be rubbed in. It is not necessary to apply the cream to the entire body.
The Magnesium helps discourage the absorption of metals like aluminum, which are commonly found in city water. The Sulfate acts as a mild chelator.
Dr. DeMio also recommends that his patients apply the Magnesium Sulfate Cream before taking showers or baths, as protection from the city water.
I hope this helps.
Thanks,
Adam
