A 1/4 teaspoon dose of MagnaZinc contains 12mg of elemental magnesium and 26.4mg of elemental zinc.

Several parents have reported to us that they were able to raise the levels of magnesium and zinc in their children from using MagnaZinc. In these kids the magnesium and zinc levels previously remained low, even after giving high dose magnesium and zinc oral supplements.

It seems that giving minerals through the skin, in a properly formulated topical product, may provide a particularly efficient route for mineral absorption.

Okay, so let me check if I have this right. 1/8 teaspoon would contain (from the label) 60 mg magnesium sulfate and 30 mg of zinc sulfate which provides (halfing the amounts you posted for 1/4 teaspoon) 6mg of elemental magnesium and 13.2 mg of elemental zinc. Funny, I thought the magnesium amount would be higher than the zinc since the sulfate amount for magnesium is higher. Thanks for the info.

Hi Chris,

You got it right.

Magnesium Sulfate provides a lot more sulfate than Zinc Sulfate.

I just wanted to say how much we love this stuff! The addition of the zinc has been very beneficial. I’d classify this as one of the most important supplements that we use.
