IP-6 aids in the metabolism of calcium and insulin and also supports hair growth and eye membrane development. The IP-6 present in Kirkman® products is derived from calcium magnesium phytate. This is important because other forms of IP-6 may actually chelate calcium and magnesium out of the body, causing a potential decrease in these important nutrients. The calcium magnesium phytate form that Kirkman® uses prevents this from occurring.
