About this product

Kirkman’s Lactobacillus Duo is an inulin free probiotic containing 30 billion colony forming units of Lactobacillus rhamnosus, and 15 billion colony forming units of Lactobacillus plantarum. Both of these strains show excellent resistance to stomach acids and bile, and also readily colonize in the intestinal tract. These strains are well documented to suppress undesirable flora in the intestines supporting good gastrointestinal health. Clinical evaluation of this product indicated that undesirable bacteria often difficult to control, were substantially reduced or eradicated. Lactobacillus Duo contains no bifido bacteria strains, and is therefore totally SCD compliant. The product offers a significantly higher potency Lactobacillus option than Kirkman’s other SCD legal Lactobacillus acidophilus product. The combination and high potencies of the rhamnosus and plantarum strains make Lactobacillus Duo an intensive care strength SCD legal probiotic. We recommend it, especially in warm weather. Refrigerated overnight ($29.99) arrives packed cold with ice. Free ground on orders of $35 or more ships without an ice pack and is a good fit for cooler weather. To avoid weekend delays, we aim to ship overnight orders Monday to Thursday and ground orders Monday to Wednesday.

Can I return refrigerated items?

Unfortunately, no. Once a refrigerated item leaves our warehouse, we can’t confirm it stayed cold, so we’re not able to take it back. If it arrives damaged or isn’t what you ordered, let us know and we’ll send a replacement at no cost.

We also offer free ground shipping within the U.S.free non-refrigerated ground shipping on eligible orders of $35 or more to all 50 U.S. states year-round (without ice packs or a cooler). This option is generally fine in cooler weather, but we don’t recommend it during periods of high heat.

Orders ship from Cleveland, Ohio, typically Monday through Wednesday to avoid weekend delays.

International Orders
